Bug ID: 296213
Summary: Fastfetch does not display pkg count unless run as
root first
Product: Ports & Packages
Version: Latest
Hardware: Any
OS: Any
Status: New
Severity: Affects Some People
Priority: ---
Component: Individual Port(s)
Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org

Fastfetch showing missing pkg count when run as normal user on FreeBSD
15.1-RELEASE using latest ports.
Since the last update when running fastfetch it does not show the package
count. But if you run fastfetch as root just once then running as a normal user
will then display the package count for about 10 minutes or so. Then when you
next try you have to run as root again and it will then run for another 10
minutes as a normal user.
I am not the only person this affects as Graham Perrin has seen this too and
other people have confirmed the same issue.
