What I did was adding weak aliases to the library, so the original functions
are still intact The problem is that some of the original symbols are
unreachable due to name clashes with functions from clib... names are the same
but arguments differ, resulting in crashes. In other words we now have both
e.g.:

uuid_make()
ossp_uuid_make()
