The system did not perform those activities as expected.

This is the PR that was trying to be verified in the process:
https://github.com/FreeBSD/freebsd-ports/commit/4b4b105e82c91455a47ca32c79525a88a60b8616

The package has been updated since the initiation of this bug report.

Background:
1. Update the ports, with the above PR
2. Try to build the ports, using poudriere, to deploy the python311 dependency
3. When the system got to the distfiles it reviewed it
4. It identified that the checksum did not align
5. Stopped the building, due to checksum misalignment
6. It did not try to re-download the distfiles

Mitigation
1. Introduced the re-get into the make.conf
2. The system again saw the checksum issue, then fired off a re-download
3. The checksum passed and completed the build

If there are specific log files the team would like, I can find them and upload
to assist in this matter.

thank you
