My bad then. But both edited the same file. Maintainer can only pull in one. 

The patch should then be changed in such a way that it offers the different
flavors via a config option. 

I can re-instate the obsoleted patch if you want to. But if it installs as
libsqlite3, it might collide with other ports that depend and demand the
sqlite3 port.

So either way, this needs discussion or updates to the patch.
