Maia Mailguard is a sophisticated system designed not only to deliver and route
your e-mail, but to scan it for viruses and filter out unwanted UBE
(Unsolicited Bulk E-mail), coloquially known as "spam".

Maia Mailguard allows you to control the way the mail server processes your
mail. A per-user web portal allows review of cached messages, and setting of
protection levels, whitelisting and other parameters.

That said, users are not required to use the web interface, and many choose not
to, as all messages can be confirmed or reported in daily message digest emails
(which are also optional BTW).
