Thanks for the feedback.

From my side, I’m willing to maintain a larger patchset if needed. UCX is quite
important for HPC networking (especially as an OpenMPI communication layer),
which is why I invested the effort here.

During submission I already updated the port once, and most patches required
little or no adjustment, so maintenance may be more manageable than expected.
Upstreaming remains the long-term goal, and I’ll continue working towards that
where possible. 

Of course I’m happy to follow whatever direction maintainers prefer — just
wanted to clarify that I’m willing to maintain this if that helps the decision.
