            Bug ID: 298026
           Summary: graphics/gdal: Add parquet driver
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: sunpoet@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: ianthetechie@gmail.com
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(sunpoet@FreeBSD.org)

The current port does not have support for the (Geo)Parquet driver, which I use
quite a lot. It looks like it's a pretty minimal patch to add this. I have
enabled it by default since the format is gaining quite wide use now in the
geospatial data community.

In the process, I also made a few other minor edits.

Fixes:

* Removed the JPEG12 option; it doesn't exist anymore.
* The OpenEXR CMAKE option was mis-named; fixed.

Finally, make stage-qa flagged a few things which I cleaned up:

* Updated the PNG and Xerces dependencies to align with the SONAME (flagged as
being mismatched)
* libgeos -> libgeos_c; libgeos_c seems to be the direct dependency
* Add libarchive; it is being linked but not declared
