Couldn't find macros at /macros/macros.vys. Please use Settings->Set directory
for vym macros

vym has not been built correctly and only will be available in English: 

No translation files in
/translations

Please get vym from
 * https://sourceforge.net/projects/vym/  or 
 *
https://software.opensuse.org//download.html?project=home%3Ainsilmaril&package=vym

Probably the prefix /usr/local/ was not well ported.
