No, as signal-cli is tightly coupled with libsignal. There can be small
differences in libsignal that completely break signal-cli. 

On top of that, https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=290820 is not
merged, but I want it to continue building. This also depends on libsignal in a
similar fashion. Luckily both are updated regularly, so this should not lead to
a big problem, finding a version that works for both is doable
