Thank you for the hints regarding the *-bin packaging technique. I will dig
into that more.

In regards to freshportsq, appreciate the comment regarding extending the
featureset. If there are particular capabilities that might be interesting, I
can put it on the roadmap (open to issues on the main repo). The current
capability for freshportsq scratches the most pressing personal itch for
myself. I find myself quite often in a situation where I don't have the ports
tree available on the system I am using so having a tool that can query
freshports without a browser has been very handy. 

At the moment, I don't think a full tui is in the works however one possibility
that I can immediately identify is perhaps implementing a console version of
100 most recent commits (the freshports front page).
