Thanks for the review!

I wasn't sure what's the right way to handle the -rc suffix, so thanks for
clarifying. I would just have used the last release version 0.3.1, but
unfortunately emulators/Ymir needs a newer version, so I went with the release
candidate 1.0.0-rc.

I added the test as suggested and make test succeeded.
