Having 8.4 work, but not working on a newer version of GlusterFS isn't very
useful for future sustainability.  Has anyone tried to engage with upstream
GlusterFS regarding failures?  If not, and with no one stepping up as
responsive MAINTAINER, the recent removal of the FreeBSD net/glusterfs port
(which probably should also be in the filesystems category) will be permanent.
