https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2025-4516 has a proposed fix for the
current security problem in python 3.11, but python.org hasn't incorporated it
into a security release yet. I hope they will incorporate it soon. In
anticipation of that release, I am preemptively opening this bug to facilitate
an update here.
