Build fine with go:1.24.
Did you tested runtime?

About merge-quarterly:
1. Update have security fixes - we must do merge-quarterly.
2. In main branch go124 is 1.24.3, but in 2025Q2 go124 is 1.24.1 - there are
concerns about the port's functionality with an older version of go124.
I don't have the ability/resources to quickly do such testing.
