            Bug ID: 286749
           Summary: finance/gnucash: webkit-based reports don't render in
                    14.3-BETA2
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: amd64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: madpilot@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: asomers@FreeBSD.org
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(madpilot@FreeBSD.org)
          Assignee: madpilot@FreeBSD.org

I have used gnucash successfully for man years, including on FreeBSD
14.2-RELEASE. However, after updating to 14.3-BETA2, the reports don't render.
There are no error messages either in the gui or on the console; the report
tab is simply blank white. HOWEVER, if I set the environment variable
WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 , then the reports work again.  That's a
trick I learned from #284391 .

I'm not using Wayland, but xorg-server 21.1.16,1 . I don't know very much
about graphics, so I'm not going to investigate this further, unless a gnucash
or webkit expert can help me.
