Yes (maintainer approvale). It gives a working jwhois port in both the non-NLS
and NLS cases.

Note that PR 286275 also needs to be acted on, as it also depends on the
deprecated libidn.

If you just apply the patch to this port, you're still going to get a
dependency on libidn because this port depends on lynx-current which still
depends on libidn. PR 286725 is still waiting for maintainer-feedback for the
fix to be applied to lynx-current.
