I dont think this is super-urgent but perhaps it would be a good idea to
introduce a v2 port say before time of year? That would enable us to give
feedback to the project and give folks like me an opportunity to be familiar
with composer and PHP84.

I'm using templates too so have no thoughts of migrating now but I am open to
testing whatever comes along.

Just my $0.02.
