There doesn't seem to be any real upstream for this port. I've been using the
Fedora version, since they seem to be maintaining it, applying their patches
that are relevant to FreeBSD and also some local patches (to put things in the
proper place in our tree, etc.).

I'm in the middle of a work crunch, but I'll try to look at it this coming week
and see if either a) Fedora already changed and I'm pulling a stale version for
the FreeBSD port or b) if I can make the changes myself and submit them.

If there's no activity on this PR in the next week or two, please give me a
reminder and I'll try to move it to the top of the pile.
