I am looking into this. Please be patient, I am going to need a bit of time to
understand all of this, compair with what upstream is doing, test etc.

Great that at least we already have a patch proposed. However, I would like to
refrain a bit from committing it. Indeed, according to your tests,
lang/gcc15-devel is not affected by the bug, but upstream does not include the
proposed patch. I would prefer to patch the affected ports with the same
commit(s) that fixed the issue upstream.

I also add two more developers in CC who are always very helpful with the most
complex GCC issues.
