Hmm, I am only the maintainer of devel/freebsd-gccN which are used to build the
base system, not lang/gccN.

I understand the intent of the patches and I think they might be ok, but it
would be good to see if this has been changed in upstream GCC yet and if not,
file an upstream bug report with GCC about the unaligned memory accesses in
libunwind.
