Because it's not possible to intentionally create a situation where there is a
problem with key input, I can't narrow down the operations that lead to the
problematic areas, but this just happened :)

Only the left Alt key can resolve the problematic state.
The behavior of the text terminal seems to respond to character key inputs, but
it simply does not echo back the characters.

That being said, I will jot down what has been on the back of my mind, as it
may serve as a reference for identifying the parts that need fix :)
