MASTER_SITES=  
https://github.com/liballeg/${PORTNAME}${PKGNAMESUFFIX}/releases/download/${DISTVERSION}/
instead of:
USE_GITHUB=     yes
GH_ACCOUNT=     liballeg
GH_PROJECT=     ${PORTNAME}${PKGNAMESUFFIX}

This is recommended way.
