Sorry, I should have been clearer on the date in DISTVERSION.

The date in DISTVERSION (gYYYYMMDD) should be the one which corresponds to the
commit hash in GH_TAGNAME, not the day of Makefile creation.

In this case, the date should be 20250601.

Can you revise the patch?
