Hi,

when running piper, I get

Terminating due to uncaught exception 0x339c8b6190a0 of type std::runtime_error
Abort (core dumped)

I use FreeBSD 14.3-RELEASE with latest pkg repo.

Other than that, maybe port could/should be updated? It seems to be two years
old ...
