Though true in spirit, this is not literally true:
 - the 2.5 was released in 2017: http://festvox.org/festival/
 - the Github project was last updated in 2020:
https://github.com/festvox/festival

Though there are others, this is still _the_ text-to-speech engine -- supported
by other software (including KDE) and with different voices available.
