So after a few more tries I got most ports affected by bump_portrevision.pl (or
ports of which a dependency was touched) to rebuild. Dropping the -t option
from poudriere helped in ignoring unrelated errors. Annoyingly, gtk2 didn't
want to rebuild and the pre-built package somehow got corrupted here, so 1-2
dozen ports did not rebuild.

But I think it is safe to update the port and bump the dependencies.
