FTR I want you (and Daniel) to know, I'm not trying to be
disagreeable here. I was just a bit astounded when I saw
the overall affects of the proposed change. Further, I
appreciate the fact that you and Daniel are doing a fair
amount of the heavy lifting to kick this off.

I would like to suggest that we keep 6 in the tree. NOT
for an excuse to be lazy and not move ones ports forward.
But for those ports that actually can't use 8.
