This issue is still present with 10.4 and 10.5.  I have glanced but not had
time to find out what changed in 10.2

On a side note, the utilities such as winecfg will not work as-is.  I think the
change from using the Wine wrapper script to symbolic links to the FreeBSD wine
script confuses the logic in the latter script.  If I just replace those links
with the old wrapper script, those tools run.
