Yes, Wine runs bi-weekly development snapshots and yearly releases.

It's good to have the former and ensure they keep building and working,
or once a year we'd have a new release that does not. Plus it tends to
enable new applications and game. Yes, it's an effort, and fully
transitioning has not succeeded for some four years now (so I ended up
releasing maintainership and supporting others like you.)
