[Bug 285758] security/metasploit: Fails immediately (activesupport issue?)

Today I noticed that ActiveSupport had been updated yesterday, and also that my
overnight ports build rebuilt Metasploit. However, "pkg upgrade" did *not*
reinstall Metasploit. Looking a little closer, I discovered that Metasploit
depends upon ActiveSupport 7.0, whereas what had been updated yesterday was
ActiveSupport 8.0. So I guess Metasploit was rebuilt coincidentally, due to
something unrelated to the ActiveSupport change.

Antoine Brodin had said "next versions of activesupport should fix the issue".
So, I'm wondering: Will the issue be fixed in 7.0, or will Metasploit be
upgraded to use ActiveSupport 8.0? Or something else entirely?
