Thank you for your report!

This seems to be caused by recent mdbook update.
Since version 0.4.48 mdbook generates an error if there are duplicate files in
SUMMARY.md.

I attached a patch to address this.
With the patch it builds fine with DOCS=ON and documentation looks good.
