https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=285734 --- Comment #6 from David Horwitt <david@mhgeode.net> --- I apologize for my noob interaction with this interface and submitting the same patch twice. Follows is the comment I intended to make with the attachments included (I didn't understand that the attachments are standlaone postings). = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Firstly, I'd like to thank you (JR Oldroyd) for bringing epsonscan2 to FBSD. Even though it's not working for me (yet?), it's great to add more device support to the OS. I'm attaching patches for Scanner.cpp, UsbFinder.cpp, deviceselectorcombobox.cpp, and initdeviceselectcombobox.cpp. The UsbFinder patch was inspired by http://x2z.free.fr/epsonscan2/LibdaemonAvahEpson2.tar.gz which I found on a Linux thread while searching for "epsonscan2" and "V500"; this patch had no observable runtime changes. All patches are relative to the original source files. I'm also attaching the firmware file esfw7C.bin that I found on the Epson site for the Linux V500 driver: https://download.ebz.epson.net/dsc/du/02/DriverDownloadInfo.do?LG2=EN&CN2=&DSCMI=144755&DSCCHK=2ee383886 9ccddfca3802f5dadc15e80a4be6a46 I imagine the other 2 firmware files are obtainable here as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
