[Bug 281584] [NEW PORT] net/dhcrelay: OpenBSD dhcrelay daemons as an ISC alternative
Date: Thu, 10 Oct 2024 11:52:28 UTC
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=281584 --- Comment #3 from Franco Fichtner <franco@opnsense.org> --- > A build test fails in the install phase: On which build machine? 14.1 looks good on my end. Or is this as a user instead of root? Is that included in some QA stage or Poudriere? > I see that your upstream is that of a custom fork. It's the same situation as net/relayd. I don't know of any other fork of these daemons and FreeBSD requires a number of BPF safety belts that OpenBSD will refuse to consider anyway. I also don't think pulling the OpenBSD source tree is a good approach to get to the source code here. Basically this is ancient ISC code forked a long time ago very similar to dhclient in FreeBSD base. Cheers, Franco -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
