Minecraft 1.20.x doesn't launch but 1.12.2 does. I use Prism Launcher from this
personal ports tree.

This port has a lwjgl3 port and I was able to run Minecraft 1.20.x when I was
on 14.0-RELEASE but I got build errors on 14.0-STABLE.
