backport fix for ruby 3.3.0

Im not sure what the policy is here since ruby 3.3.0 is not released yet but
FreeBSD already supports it.

But if you want to run jekyll on ruby 3.3.0 this patch is required.
Until a new version of jekyll is released containing this fix.
