I've wrestled with building CURA on FreeBSD before, too.  It's a bear.  Just
look at that dependency list!

But 5.4 Adds the XMAS tree support.  It is truly revolutionary.  Complicated
and delicate models with supports that are actually quite easy to remove. 
While only a minor release from 5.3 --- 5.4 represents something I would say is
the new baseline of Cura.

FreeBSD needs this for it's makers.
