Strangely, environment variables are unchanged (at least manually) for years.
But here we go.

Host FQDN andUUID are displayed but hidden here.

% env | grep XDG                                                                
XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=MATE
XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/var/run/user/1001
XDG_SESSION_COOKIE=(FQDN)-(UUID)
