I can't reproduce the flickering anymore. Most likely, the graphics card was
left in an unconsistent state by a crashed kodi instance.

Videos run fine now, thanks.

If you could clarify why I need to tell kodi to prefer the nvidia GL library
when I didn't need it before, it would be appreciated. Also, why this happened
after an upgrade and not since the beginning?
