The state of this issue upstream indicate that it may not be resolved any soon.

PJSIP assumes that a wildcard bind will work for both IPv4 and IPv6 peers, but
this is incompatible with BSD kernels and works this way only on Linux kernels.

For the Asterisk developers, FreeBSD is not a project supported environment
and, probably because of this, the issue is currently flagged as of minor
severity and left to the community to do anything.
