To be clear; I hate git. That said;
I find it easiest to
1) git the ports version just prior to it's removal.
2) Hack, hack, hack.
3) git (delete|add) as required.
from /usr/ports/ perform:
4) git diff --staged> ~/port-category_port-name01.diff
attach said diff(1) to this pr(1) along with the diff
of the now modified:
/usr/ports/MOVED file.
