            Bug ID: 267708
           Summary: security/ossec-hids: 'local_rules.xml' still being
                    replaced with sample file
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: no-reply-expected@phinetworksystems.co.uk
                CC: dominik.lisiak@bemsoft.pl
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(dominik.lisiak@bemsoft.pl)
                CC: dominik.lisiak@bemsoft.pl

Dominik originated commit
https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd-ports/commit/68d6aa009c87714f94855e5dc9a5d60992209b84

see https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=267455

I waited until it got released on freshports then updated to
ossec-hids-server-3.7.0_1

The problem is the /usr/local/ossec-hids/rules/local_rules.xml still got
toasted.

ossec-hids-server-3.7.0 (before upgrade)
# md5sum /usr/local/ossec-hids/rules/local*
d391abaa792cfdd67db7600b3a36e1ac /usr/local/ossec-hids/rules/local_rules.xml

ossec-hids-server-3.7.0_1 (after upgrade)
# md5sum /usr/local/ossec-hids/rules/local*
9dc11ffe2acd62c2e2aefdc7aa6e413e /usr/local/ossec-hids/rules/local_rules.xml
9dc11ffe2acd62c2e2aefdc7aa6e413e
/usr/local/ossec-hids/rules/local_rules.xml.sample

I have looked at Dominik's change and I'm lost as to why it hasn't fixed this.
I see why the new .sample file has appeared by why it wiped the local_rules.xml
again has me stumped.

I admit I'm not familiar with the scripting for installing staged files to
target. While I'm coming up to speed on it maybe someone more familiar with it
could help?
