Unfortunately, I can no longer work out how to port later versions of eclipse.
My last attempt was for 4.23. While I can get this port to build, I have missed
something critical, as I cannot get my port to generate the right
build-artifact.

If you have java skills, and patience to work thru' Maven and Tycho builds, you
can  attempt a build. My stalled work is available at
https://github.com/daemonblade/freebsd-eclipse
