New and better patch
I found some extra time so I improved upon the upgrade:
- reverted chvt to an earlier version that builds on FreeBSD
- it now installs symlinks to the toybox binary in
${PREFIX}/toybox/[bin|sbin|usr/bin|usr/sbin]
