db5 is unmaintained and 

DEPRECATED=     EOLd, potential security issues, maybe use db18 instead
EXPIRATION_DATE=2022-06-30

What do you need it for? Can you switch to db 18?

If you use portupgrade try:

-u, --uninstall-shlibs   Do not preserve old shared libraries

I cannot reproduce this issue.
