No, I'm using the binaries from pkg.

In /etc/make.conf, I had DEVELOPER=yes but removing it, deinstalling ghc and
cabal-install and re-installing it did not solve the issue.
The other line is :
DEFAULT_VERSIONS+=ssl=openssl

If you have any more ideas, I would be happy to test them.
