Request explicit feedback from portmgr regarding bundling dependencies. It it well-known that many ports forgo un-bundling dependencies, particularly those that are excruciatingly complex, bundle custom/tailored/patched dependency versions, or naturally vendor those dependencies for specific reasons where the ports versions are unsuitable or incompatible. @everyone If there are any remaining concerns or decisions to be made, please make those explicit such that we can request feedback from any necessary folks/teams as well @Reporter (Olivier) Could you please provide an update on the 'readiness' of the latest attachment, in particular with respect to, and confirming: - Latest upstream version - QA (poudriere) across all supported FreeBSD versions and tier-1 architecture - GCC remaining as build requirement (and why) Referenced Bugs: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=251019 [Bug 251019] [NEW PORT] lang/tauthon: Backwards-compatible fork of Python 2.7 interpreter with Python 3.x features -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
