I see the error in 2.83.18 but not 2.93.6 or 3.0.0

As you find in the bug report you linked, this has been resolved in the blender
source. The fix is waiting to be added to ports.

There is a new port to add an LTS2.93 version bug #260312 as well as update
blender to 3.0 bug #260308 - both of these resolve this issue and also rely on
the update to ocio in bug #253491 if you wanted to manually update.
