This is the same patch as we always had, just rebased on the latest 2.7.7
sources.
It disables update checks against github:

- 'CHECK_GITHUB': (int, 'General', 1),
+ 'CHECK_GITHUB': (int, 'General', 0),

The other 2 changes in the .patch are because the source changed the file a
bit.

As stated on the initial upload of the patch:

poudriere testport ok
runs in production in my setup
