            Bug ID: 260158
Summary: sysutils/rsyslog8 pkg message is outdated
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: matthew@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: markj@FreeBSD.org
          Assignee: matthew@FreeBSD.org
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(matthew@FreeBSD.org)

Installing rsyslog, I get this message:

It's recommended to copy syslog.conf(5) to
/usr/local/etc/rsyslog.conf and edit it there. Otherwise add
this:

  rsyslogd_config="/etc/syslog.conf"

But if I do that and start rsyslogd I get:

rsyslogd: BSD-style blocks are no longer supported in rsyslog, see
https://www.rsyslog.com/g/BSD for details and a solution (Block '!-devd')
[v8.2110.0 try https://www.rsyslog.com/e/2304 ]
