e0b74e7b17393988120d86e20e91bd38f03c93ad reverted a rebase/merge error that
created a file that shouldn't exist post-D56087.

the history might look confusing as the files are now part of
bb75b0d581f74e22a68d7868ad1f5da1146a8de0 (D56087), which i landed the day
after.

are you still seeing the error when building with latest main?
